We are looking for talented, full-time developers with 3+ years’ experience. The position requires exceptional programming skills, problem solving abilities, and an eye for detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking a web project from the development phase to the final product. Technical skills should include web development and experience with Drupal, PHP, MySQL, Apache, HTML5, CSS3, Javascript and/or similar technologies.
WEB PROJECT MANAGERS
Web Project Managers are the main point of contact for all our projects. You'll need to have an advanced understanding of the web and project management systems. Most of all you'll need to enjoy leading and coordinating a team of talented individuals to execute multiple initiatives. A Web Project Manager at Blink reports progress to stakeholders in a fast-paced client focused environment. Strong communication and team skills are required to bring projects in on time and within budget.
SENIOR DEV - TEAM LEAD
Are you a master at architecting client solutions? A Senior Developer Team Lead at Blink puts all the moving pieces together. You should have experience leading and deploying large scale or enterprise level Drupal development projects. The ideal candidate will have deep content understanding and skill sets around Drupal, system integration, data structure, web services, frameworks, social networking, SEO, performance, security, one web development and responsive design.
SENIOR QA ENGINEER
Senior Quality Assurance Engineers are responsible for leading and mentoring a QA team, manual testing, small automation, tracking issues and quality control metrics gathering. Senior QA Engineers have proven experience in web application testing and are self-motivated, proactive, efficient, and creative.
BUSINESS ANALYSTS
Blink Reaction is looking for business analysts with an eye for detail and the ability to quickly and effectively organize a variety of information associated with enterprise-level web projects, including use cases, business requirements, functional requirements, and user stories. The ideal candidate has a background working with large web development projects and a good familiarity with web-based programming and CMS technologies. An excellent command of English and proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint are essential. Bonus points for the candidate who has some background with content strategy, information architecture or user experience.
The Business Analyst position is responsible for documenting all phases of a project and for keeping project documents up to date through multiple rounds of changes. This means being able to listen in on stakeholder meetings and integrate what has been discussed into existing project documentation. The successful candidate will bring to the position a healthy curiosity and the ability to spot the missing pieces. The Business Analyst must also have the people/communications skills to interact with both our Fortune 1000 project stakeholders and our internal development team. Candidates should have 3+ years experience as a business analyst on web projects.
WEB DESIGNERS
Blink Reaction is looking for a web designer who has a passion for graphic design and strong background with interactive technologies for web and mobile. Our ideal candidate is not only a wizard with Photoshop & Illustrator but is also well-versed in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and other interactive technologies. The ability to understand the underlying web technologies that will be used to realize a given design is an absolute must. An eye for detail and an ability to maintain consistency across multiple web properties is also essential.
In addition to killer design skills, we want someone who can think strategically about the user experience and who will be comfortable working closely with the techie types on our development team. A substantial part of the job will be working with received design materials and being able to offer clear and constructive feedback & recommendations. Our web designer will need to support his/her design decisions both to clients and internal stakeholders. Optional nice-to-haves include familiarity with interactive prototyping and / or content strategy. A background in web marketing is also a plus.
